As we recover from the shock of a global pandemic, it is time to celebrate with a new season wardrobe to bring fresh confidence and excitement as we travel, socialise and work together again.
For Autumn Winter, the Louise Kennedy ready-to-wear collection makes the ultimate sartorial statement using luxury fabrics and expert crafting skills. As ever, the understated collection comprises beautiful, crafted clothes- elegant yet effortless designs- that remain in fashion season after season thanks to the luxury handwriting the label exudes.
Special occasions are back on the agenda such as weddings, anniversaries and important work meetings; this season’s collection features a beautiful butterfly detail in vibrant silk prints and hand-beaded butterflies on dresses and jackets, aptly symbolic of growth and transformation.
Strength is expressed with a powerful colour palette with energy-boosting shades like magenta, amethyst, ruby and emerald.
Separates in sharp tailoring, contemporary ribbed knits, and feminine ruffle silks strongly feature, such as the dramatic Layla blazer, Alba silk shirt and Cassia trousers, or the double-face India coat and Jameela silk dress, with contrasting gold closures.
Comfort lux dressing is encouraged across the collection with the Suri hoodie, Kate double-face jacket and Serena knit trousers; this is the ultimate in high-low dressing.
As ever, the collection features statement fabrics from Linton Tweeds.
Linton, based in Carlisle has a longstanding tradition of creating beautiful novelty fabrics handwoven to this day for their initial strike off. It has always been the first port of call when we start a new collection. Established in 1912, Linton has an extensive client portfolio when you consider the brands they work alongside including some of the worlds most prestigious French and Italian fashion houses. Their use of multiple threads and different tension mechanisms create the texture and unique novelty feel to the fabric.

Across the collection, spot the colour pops of magenta, purple, emerald and orange. Pictured above, our India double faced coat and orange Clarissa knit sweater, also available in emerald and purple give a hit of colour this season.
Imagery above left, details this season’s bespoke butterfly print. Drawn and designed in house, it is then printed on exquisite silk georgette, which in turn is transformed into our stunning Amina blouse.
Imagery above right, illustrates the work of our incredibly skilled team of artisans whom we have the pleasure of working with each season. Each butterfly is expertly created by hand, in the richest of jet black beading on our Lucie dress and Lula waistcoat. Pieces to invest in and love, for a life time.
Finally, can we wish you all a safe and happy time in the months ahead. Who knew we would be heading into the new season with so many changes to our lives?
We also want to send love and appreciation to our craftsmen and women in Italy, France, Portugal, and India who help us each season produce such beautiful garments.
