Take a look around.

At a time when good fabric and excellent finish are overlooked and undervalued, our pieces stand out – and last a lifetime. Fabrics are chosen for their weight, their quality, their feel, their ability to fall and fold beautifully.

This season, we have returned to one of Italy’s most renowned mills to source double face crepe, constructed with two layers, so no lining is required.

High quality printed silks developed in Northern Italy are printed with dramatic paint splashes and geometric swirls. Luxurious Italian knits return. A crisp, fresh blue, white and pink tweed from Paris is woven with silver Lurex thread. And where there are linings, they are 100% Italian silk.

Linton, based in Carlisle has a longstanding tradition of creating beautiful novelty fabrics handwoven to this day for their initial strike off. It has always been a first port of call when we start a new collection. Established in 1912, Linton has an extensive client portfolio when you consider the brands they work alongside including some of the worlds most prestigious French and Italian fashion houses. Their use of multiple threads and different tension mechanisms create the texture and unique novelty feel to the fabric. The season our Daniella dress and Holly jacket are created using Linton fabrics exclusively woven for our SS19 collection.

Louise Kennedy at Linton.

The Dahlia (above) full-length silk kaftan in midnight, the embellishing on this luxurious piece is inspired by a Georgian fan window, with its deep V-neck and central decoration hand-embroidered with delicate pearls and bugle beads. Along the outer edge, the pattern of railings is also expressed in delicate beading. Louise has built international relationships, with craftsman who excel in their field from embroidery to embellishing.

This year, we celebrate 21 years on Dublin’s most historic and elegant Georgian square. The SS19 collection was in part inspired by this important milestone, with design details of railings and intricate ceiling cornices transposed into pattern and pearl, bead and crystal embellishment on beautiful tailored jackets, coats, dresses and kaftans, many of them in chic midnight and white colour combinations.
