Louise Kennedy: London Flagship Store Entrance On entering the store, one is completely struck by the tranquil atmosphere of No 9 West Halkin Street, as the impeccable décor of white walls and cream carpet with limestone tile surround; provide a neutral backdrop which allows Louise's collections to shine. With floor-to-ceiling glazing on three sides of the shop, the store requires little artificial lighting. The centrepiece of the ground floor is an 18th-century drum table with brass inlays and intricate carved detail. Topped with a collection of mini-Buddha's, crystal candlesticks and scented candles, it serves as both a decorative accessory and a display. |
